Early Signs and Symptoms of Pregnancy

In addition to a missed period, the earliest symptoms of pregnancy might include:

•  Nausea with or without vomiting
•  Tender, swollen breasts
•  Increased urination
•  Fatigue
•  Food aversions or cravings
•  Bloating

You might also experience:

•  Slight bleeding or cramping
•  Headaches
•  Backaches
•  Mood swings
•  Dizziness
•  Constipation
•  Darkening of the areolas (the circle around the nipple)

The only way to find out for sure is to do a pregnancy test.  A negative test may be incorrect because it has been done too soon. It is a good idea to take another pregnancy test up to three weeks after intercourse if you are still concerned.
